2021年，隈研吾建筑都市设计事务所在日本一流音乐学院东宝学园内设计的“木造”音乐厅落成。

这座木质建筑采用雪松和柏树混合成的交叉层积材，在音乐厅内壁形成折叠面板结构，附带有回声效果。

设计团队旨在将音乐厅本身设计成一个巨大的木制乐器，为欣赏音乐的极致体验提供理想的声学环境。

建筑外部覆盖着一层木制百叶，仿佛一个巨大的弦乐乐器正应和着音乐厅的旋律敲打出节奏。

Theexterioriscoveredwithwoodenlouvers,evokingthestringsofinstruments,andarearrangedasiftheybeatoutarhythmandaddresonancetotheentirehall.
