本项目的建筑对面就是忻州古城的秀容书院，几乎是游客来忻州古城必逛的一个景点，所以要能和书院有一个好的互动承接，能满足一部分游客在逛完书院后临时休息一下静下心来喝喝茶看看书，享受古城的这种古朴气韵。
TheXiurongAcademyinXinzhouAncientCityisoppositethebuildingofthisproject,whichisalmostamustvisitscenicspotfortouriststoXinzhouAncientCity.Therefore,itisnecessarytohaveagoodinteractionwiththeAcademy,whichcansatisfysometouriststohavearesttemporarilyaftervisitingtheAcademy,drinkteaandreadbooks,andenjoytheancientcharmoftheancientcity.

内|Inside
在原建筑的空隙里植入了不同大小的玻璃结构空间，把原本各自封闭的空间连接起来。在院子里植入了一条半高的弧线墙体，对原来四平八稳的空间格局进行扰动的同时也丰富了院子的使用场景。

前厅区在原建筑结构内嵌入一个箱体，作为入口缓冲空间的同时直接挤压原空间进深，客人进入就直接近距离面对庭院，视线多个层次穿透。

门厅入口处独立的木柱和半圆形的红色薄墙用来缓冲北方寒冬冷风的侵入。

嵌入的门厅箱体结构故意和原建筑的梁架结构错位放置，造成一些认知上的陌生感和模糊感。

原木结构的砖质隔墙几乎全部拆除，裸露出原本藏在墙体内的梁架结构。

原建筑的砖质隔墙全部拆除，取而代之的大落地玻璃让空间更加的通透。弧形的半高墙体直接贯穿两个空间。

弧形半高墙砌筑的时候也参照了当地建筑花墙的做法，即分隔又通透。
